Park Policies
Alcoholic Beverages
Alcoholic beverages may be purchased by Guests 21 years of age or older. Proper ID is required to purchase and/or consume alcohol.
No alcoholic beverages can be brought into Slide City Waterpark. Alcoholic beverages purchased in the park must be consumed before leaving the park. Guests who are intoxicated may be removed from the park without refund. Slide City Waterpark reserves the right to take further action against impaired guests where appropriate.
Behavior
We expect all guests to behave in a family-friendly manner. Any line jumping, profanity and unruly behavior are considered offensive to other guests and could be ejected from the park without a refund. Saving a spot in line is not permitted and/or bypassing others. If you exit the line and choose to return you must go to the back of the line if you choose to return.
Safety Procedures
The safety of our guests and associates is our number one priority, and we have implemented several enhanced security procedures at all entrance gates. As part of the process:
- Guests arriving at the park will go through metal detection.
- All bags, purses, backpacks, waist packs, etc. are subject to search prior to entering.
- Sharp objects (including pocket knives and metal chains), firearms, or other items that could be considered a weapon are strictly prohibited and should be left at home or secured in your vehicle.
- Please see our separate FAQ on outside food and beverages.
We use a variety of methods in securing our parks including uniformed and plain clothes officers, and video surveillance monitoring.
Slide City does not tolerate guests who fight and/or harass other guests while on our property. People who engage in this behavior are subject to being ejected and potentially banned from the park, and may be subject to arrest by local police.
Filming
For the safety of our guests, filming is not allowed on any Slides. Filming, regardless of device, secured or unsecured, is prohibited on all Slides and attractions. Tripods and monopods are not permitted in the park.
Camera Policy
For safety reasons, on-ride photography of any kind is prohibited on all rides. Use of camera phones or any type of photography or video recording devices is prohibited in any rest room or Slide City changing area.
Guests taking pictures or video while riding will be asked to leave the park with no refund given and may be cited with a misdemeanor.
Dress Code
To ensure all guests visiting Slide City Waterpark can enjoy their visit, and in keeping with our family-friendly environment, as well as for health and safety reasons, Slide City Waterpark maintains and enforces a dress code. Guests should dress casually and comfortably as is appropriate for the local weather. All Guests must wear proper attire, such as shirts/tops, shorts/pants, and footwear (Closed toe water shoes if sliding), at all times within the theme park.
Guests should wear a cover-up or shirt/top and shorts/pants over their bathing suits while enjoying the theme park.
As a general rule, when visiting Slide City Waterpark, Guests should avoid clothing that may be considered inappropriate for our family-friendly environment. Clothing and visible tattoos that depict violence, nudity, vulgarity, or discriminatory language or graphics are prohibited at all times. Clothing may not be turned inside out as a solution.
Slide City Waterpark reserves the right to deny admission to or remove anyone whose attire does not comply with the Guest Dress Code or could detract from the experience of other guests — if the Guest refuses all reasonable options. Guests requiring accommodations to our Guest Dress Code should visit Guest Relations and speak to a member of the Park management team upon arrival at Slide City Waterpark.
Drink Bottles
Slide City Waterpark is not responsible for lost or stolen drink bottles. Lost or stolen drink bottles will not be replaced.
Food, Beverages and Coolers
Food, beverages, coolers and grills may not be brought into the theme park. The only food exceptions are for food allergies as described below and infant food, in non-glass jars. The use of grills and open flames are strictly prohibited, in and around the property, including parking lots.
Food Allergies
Guests who suffer from sensitivities or life-threatening allergies may bring food into the park if they do not feel comfortable with the menu options available. In this case, the food must be limited to the individual with the allergy and may contain: two sealable sandwich bags (7×8 inches) and one snack to accommodate their visit (such as a piece of fruit, or a fruit bar, or a snack that fits in a sandwich bag). One small soft-sided cooler may be brought into the park to carry these items. No outside beverages are permitted. Please see Security at screening to receive a medical sticker.
Language
Guests should not use profanity or abusive language, symbols or gestures towards other Guests and our Team Members. Guests who do so may be ejected from the park without refund.
Line Jumping
Line jumping is strictly prohibited. Guests who choose to leave a line for any reason may not return to the same spot and must reenter at the end of the line. Guests are not permitted to save spots for other guests. Violators will be ejected without a refund.
Park Policy Compliance
In addition to the Slide City Guest Code of Conduct, Guests are expected to comply with Slide City Waterpark park policies, rules and instructions posted or otherwise listed as well as all local, state and federal laws. Guest and team member safety is our top priority at Slide City.

Weather
The park offers many activities that are amazingly fun in any kind of weather — including shows, food options, shops, games and other entertainment. Guest safety is our number one priority. There are certain weather circumstances that may cause the entire park to close earlier than scheduled or not open at all. If rain, wind or electrical storms force us to close certain Slides for your safety, they will re-open as soon as safe operations can be assured.
Slide City Waterpark will issue a complimentary return ticket to enjoy the park another day if a power failure or severe weather causes the shut down of the majority of the Slides at our Park for more than 90 minutes at a time. You must present your original Slide City Waterpark one-day ticket stub or receipt with the correct date to the Guest Relations Office in order to receive a free return ticket. Tickets are non-refundable.
Restricted Access
Guests are strictly prohibited from entering restricted areas, including Slider and backstage areas. Guests should contact the Slide Attendant or Lost and Found/Security to report lost items. Lost personal items will not be retrieved during operating hours. Guests must not attempt to retrieve their lost items. Guests who enter a restricted area may be ejected from the park without refund. Slide City Waterpark reserves the right to take further action where appropriate.
Slide Restrictions
Safety is our number-one priority. Guests with certain body proportions, or of certain heights and/or weights, may not be able to enjoy certain Slides if the safety restraints will not operate as designed. Specific Slide information is available at the Slide and at the Slide Information Center. For your convenience, a one-time height check is available at the Slide Information Center, located on the left side, outside the main entrance so our smaller guests don’t have to be re-measured at each attraction.
Slider Responsibility
There is an inherent risk in participating in any amusement Slide. We expect Sliders to exercise good judgment and act in a responsible manner. Guests must also obey all oral and written warnings and properly use Slide safety equipment provided. Guests that do not comply with Slide rules may be ejected from the park without refund. Please read the specific guidelines posted at each entrance of the Slides.
Park Entry and Re-Entry
Passholders must present their passes to enter the park. When guests return to the park, they must enter through the re-entry gate with their Pass. Transferring a Daily Pass is a violation of Slide City policies and is strictly prohibited.
Smoking
Slide City Waterpark maintains a smoke-free environment, except for designated smoking areas which are identified on park maps. All other areas in the parks, including Slide queue lines, are smoke-free. E-cigarettes may only be used in designated smoking areas. Slide City Waterpark prohibits smoking marijuana at any time, even in designated smoking areas.
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV’s)
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests, Slide City Waterpark prohibits the operation or use of any unmanned aerial vehicle on, from, or above Slide City Waterpark’ premises absent specific written consent. This includes all UAVs, also commonly known as “drones,” regardless of their size, weight or purpose.
